Straight older style chemise (cămaşă dreaptă)
Inset piece worn at neck.
Pleated sleeveless overdress (saya) made of heavy felted dark blue woollen fabric, decorated with rows of maroon braiding around the neck, and dark clue braiding on the hem.
Narrow fabric belt (brâu) decorated with woven motifs.
Gathered apron (şort), made of two widths of heavy woollen fabric, the upper one is navy blue with borders of maroon, gold and silver woven motifs, the lower one is covered with the same woven motifs.
