Description
Blouse (ie) with gathered neck (cămaşă încreţită) decorated with yellow and blue embroidered rows of motifs making a rectangular strip across the top of the shoulder (altiţă), and vertical stripes (râuri) on the front and sleeves.
Wrap round skirt (fota) made of a single width of yellow woven woollen material, richly decorated with woven motifs in gold and silver thread. It is edged with a border in silver with gold dots, inside this is a broad band of dense geometric motifs in gold thread, then the centre part of the skirt is covered with diagonal lines on gold making diamond shapes infilled with a silver cross.
Narrow woven fabric belt (brâu) made of black, gold and brown threads.
